It occurred to me as I watch Nova's documentary on The String Theory: The Elegant Universe that this might be the antidote to nuclear weapons and radiation. What if in conjuction with engineering a nuclear weapon defense system, we figure out an antidote?! Some way of nullifying a nuclear weapon within nanoseconds of detination.
Using the theories of General Relativity and Quantum Physics?
Could radioactive energy be sent to another dimension, thereby canceling it's effect on our own universe dimension? Kinda like opening a mini stargate?
